With only a few months remaining in the season and the top of the table looking more congested than ever this year, 3 possible teams could take the title, one being last year’s Champions Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

Arsenal has been a free-scoring side this season and with the odd falter here and there they are still bang there at the right time, Man City remains in striking distance and Liverpool is also vying for the top spot.

Spurs and Villa are still mathematically possible but based on previous seasons, it is doubtful, Villa will be focusing on battling it out for that last Champions League spot with Tottenham and that will go down to the wire I feel.

The Contenders

Three giants enter the ring and we are going to look at each team’s chances one by one starting with last season’s Champs Man City.

Man City

Man City are very potent with Foden shining this season, Haaland has gone off the boil somewhat but still remains a huge threat in any game he plays, City are still one of the best teams chemistry-wise in the world and it’s impossible to right them off winning again.

The only question is do they want it as much as they did last season? They are going to have to want it more to stop Arsenal and Liverpool this time around.

They have some relatively easy-looking fixtures coming up with the likes of Nottingham Forest and Luton in their last few games it should make life easier.

Their final fixtures read as follows…

Luton
Tottenham
Brighton
Nottingham Forest
Wolves
Fulham
West Ham

Though it’s controversial, I think Man City will be runners-up this season for the Premiership title.

Liverpool

Liverpool are a side this season that has ground out the results when they need them, their squad feels like it has strength in depth in most areas and their young upcoming players are next level.

They have a slightly better goal difference than Man City, they have a relatively good run in, the only dangerous fixture could be when they play Everton, and though Everton has not been good this season they would love nothing more than to throw a spanner in the works of their bitter rivals chances of a title win.

Their final fixtures read as follows…

Crystal Palace
Fulham
Everton
West Ham
Tottenham
Villa
Wolves

I think Liverpool will finish third, I feel they have a knack for slipping up at the crucial moment, and it could be time to let someone else take a turn at winning this year.

Arsenal

I think Arsenal will lift the premier league trophy this year, they have been bangin’ in goals left right, and center they have the best goal difference, and their final fixtures read as follows…

Wolves
Chelsea
Tottenham
Bournemouth
Man Utd
Everton

Arsenal have one of the harder run-ins but I feel they will overcome it when they need to pull it out they have done and this year will be their turn to lift the trophy.
